I hadn't been in here since they moved. They have stepped it up with a small hard liquor bar and wine along with about 70 taps. Good selection of beers. The food looked good with sandwiches, salads, and flat breads. There are two pool tables, pinball machines with one Foosball table. Outside patio allows for dogs. A great place to kick back and watch a football game on the wide selection of TV's scattered around the bar. Plenty of seating and wide open space to spread out. I will definitely will be back.
Walk inside and realize this is your new favorite hang out spot! Beverages abound, awesome food, fun games, super staff and fabulous atmosphere. Sit outside with your four-legged friend and you will be so glad you’re here! Don’t leave without trying the tamales or beer cheese dip!
Stopped in a Sunday afternoon for a few cold ones and the selection was nice. Staff was attentive but then again by the time I left there were only 7 of us sipping. Prices weren’t that bad. Never made it to the “old” location but this one has all that’s needed for just enjoyment. Bathrooms are separate but very clean as part of the complex. Ample parking.
Great tap selection. My tastes stray toward stouts, aged and malted beers and the Hog usually provides a large enough sampling for one or two flights of heaven with no repeats. Full range of rotating taps. A favorite spot for beer. Try the Buffalo chicken pizza w/blue cheese! Most recent visit (11/13/23), several of the taps were flat. The Chimay was also 'off' in taste and texture.
Awesome staff, and they know their beers. They serve only craft beers and good pub food. If you're a coors light or bud light person it's probably not for you.
Great venue. Light and bright (in the daytime). Plenty of seating. The game room is a fun addition. Outdoor seating looked great, but we were there on a chilly day, so we didn’t try it. The beer selection is phenomenal! If you can’t find something you like, then you are just plain wacky. Didn’t try the food this go-round, but it looked good. Will give it a go the next time.
Lunchtime beers on a weekday with a friend is always a treat. The Beer Hog had what we needed and everything was great. Can't wait to try the food next time.
They've remodeled this old middle school into a college kid's dream! Great spot for beer and local music. But not that loud over the top music, more like acoustic or a small band type of music scene. There's indoor and outdoor seating, a game room, walk-in beer convenience store, and grand tap room. Typically, there are 60-70 beers on tap. They've got a tavern style menu so you can also grab a bite while you're picking your next pint.
